I don't like the shades at all.....The rest of the room is OK, but something just "blah" about the room....

@jubilant

Thanks for posting.

Guess I’m in the minority. I kind of like it. Looks like a happy fun room. I agree the lamps need to be moved. The TV isn’t in the best position. I don’t mind the shades. Even the kaleidoscope pillows are ok with me since the sofas are so neutral.

I think the sofas are too large for the space.  Don't care for the occasional table at the end of the sofa.  It's like they had it, didn't know what to do with it, so they stuck it there.  Also don't care for all the stuff scattered around.  I would much prefer a couple of kick a** pieces.  As is, room is ok, but nothing to write home about.

I would only have one side of the room furnished. It is too confining as is. If anything I would place a chair acoss.

I would change the throw pillows & the shades (they look kind of cheap to me), but otherwise I can see DH, me, 2 kitties and the dog cozied up for an evening of TV!

I don't like the window shades.  I like the sofas but I don't like the matching pillows on each sofa.  I think I would have prefer shutters in white.
