Don't know if anyone is interested in this, but I had to vent somewhere. I've been wanting the Jenn-Air appliances for a while, mostly because they used to have a good consumer report rating, and I liked their line of floating glass -- a change from the black appliances I've had for 20 some years. I purchased the dishwasher and microwave -- what a disappointment! They're made in China, and there's something strange about the stainless steel components of these items -- every time you clean them, wipe them with a clean cloth, the cloth picks up black residue that just seems to "bleed" from what they're saying is stainless. Whatever happened to the good old days where our appliances were made here, using steel manufactured in the U.S.? (That's rhetorical, I know the answer to that.)
