@Oznell I met her when I worked at Bergdorf Goodman in college. She was purchasing a dress for Caroline at the time. I made a suggestion what to buy, and she went with it. She was so LOVELY and APPRECIATIVE.

The roof caught my eye. Looks in bad shape to me but maybe things get that weathered look and are still in good shape.

I love how unpretentious the rooms are. Very low-key but inviting and the rustic feel from some of the antiques is a surprise. Would have been nice it

it had been updated instead of completely gutted and modernized. The charm is lost when that happens.

Thanks for the info @Oznell I love all the photos and seeing how beautiful it is. My sister and I went to Washington DC many years ago to see an exhibition of the outfits that she wore during the White House years and it was interesting and amazing. I'm a "hat" person so it was great for me to see everything put together and of course the photos of each event was included.
