Yes. I like my house to be clutter free and tidy at all times. I have many pets though, so I must vacuum daily to keep the hair at bay!

People who drop in on me pretty much know what to expect, and don't care. The main bathroom and kitchen are always the cleanest rooms in the house. Regardless of what door you enter, or exit, someone's shoes are beside the door, and the dining room table will always have something stacked on it. We live here, it's home.

Yes. My bathrooms and kitchen are always clean. I don't have clutter around ever. I'm not obsessive about it, but I keep up every day with straightening up

Not really, but I don't care anymore. I volunteer at a no kill animal shelter and I don't have time to worry about the house like I used to. I'm not a hoarder or anything, but the house could look better and I used to be a great keeper of the house, but I don't fret over it anymore.

Re: Is your home most always ""guest ready""?

I WISH!!! I always keep the family room welcoming and the downstairs powder room is always company ready. The dining room, as much as I'd like it to LOOK like a dining room, is usually a "I don't know where to put this, so I'll keep it in here for a while" room. We are in our sunroom most of the time, so if people come to visit, that's where we go to chat.

IF I get notice and anyone is having a group of friends over, I can make the downstairs look great. Just don't go upstairs for any reason! I hope to have some time - and some help - over winter break to sort through some things and clean out a little. Smile

My most recent unexpected guest didn't want to come in, she was just dropping off a Christmas card. She said she was busy and couldn't stay to chat.

I was relieved {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

No....its bound to need dusting and vacuuming...with Christmas around the corner there is plenty of clutter what with gifts....

However.....if you drop in.............you get what you see.....

No matter how my place looks...I will welcome you in and serve you whatever I happen to have on hand....and make you comfortable...

I can keep things really straightened well for almost a week .... and then the place starts to look lived in ..... as a result, we have a gal come in and clean every two weeks to get us back on track. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}

Sometimes ya just need a little help to stay on the straight and narrow .... {#emotions_dlg.laugh}
