Interesting Use of Space for Dining

I have not seen anyone use a space like this for dining.
What do you think of it?

Love it for dining in a small space.

Would also work well in a basement as a game table or some similar function, even a home office with some minor changes.

I think its a great use of space, but for the size the chairs should be smaller in profile

I think depending on my mood, I"d feel like it was very cozy (reminds me of the Harry Potter friend's house you know the big guy with the beard lol!)

or I'd start to feel a little claustrophobic or like someone was watching me on the stairs!

Either way, its pretty interesting!

@lolakimonoI like it. I am going to show this to my friend, who quite often moves her kitchen table into different rooms of her home to make dinner more interesting. She might like something like this for her next dinner.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!
