Unusual old octagonal house of which there seem to be quite a few in the US.  However, it's the unique porch decor that attracted me. How the children would love it.

Pretty and unusual.  I'm a fan of merry-go-round horses, but I don't think I'd want them on my front porch.

@shoesnbags. It closely resembles a house in Kingston, NY but since the angle is different, it may not be.

@Kachina624 , having the verandah mimic a merry go round would be a child's delight!  Very unusual.

Octagonal houses like this one are fanciful and fun.  For some reason, the ones I've seen in books tend to be in New York state.

Octagonal houses always look cute and charming.  I'm not sure I'd like the interior with, what I'm assuming to be, strange wall angles in a lot of rooms.  The Merry-Go-Round horses would be a definite no for me.

I love this house. Each grandchild could have a horse with their own color scheme. How fun would that be.
