It's a bit dark for me, but I know gray is "in."

Would you consider this for your house?

No, but to each his own. I don't care for mirrored vanity. I could probably live with the color, but I wouldn't paint any room that dark. I like lighter colors.

I like the grey color, but would be very dark, especially if there are no windows. People forget that these professionally shot photos have lots of lighting that doesn't exist in the real world of bathrooms.

The mirrored vanity would be a spotted up nightmare!

So this is is really pretty to look at , but not at all practical to have.

That light fixture would be a nightmare to keep clean as well, in a bathroom where all that dust is created from towels and clothing.

This bath is not supposed to be a real room and it isn't. It is a prop to showcase Pottery Barns merchandise.  The dark gray highlights the products for sale.

If the oversized floral arrangement were removed I can say I love the overall sophistication of this room.  

However, the walls are too dark to my eye.  I have a friend who had her master bath painted dark navy blue and I feel as if the walls are closing in on me. I like the mirrored vanity, but it would need constant cleaning.  Not a fan of the stool.  Like the marble surround and love the towels. I see a trip to Pottery Barn in my future--maybe today.  😊
