I've always had white doors, crown molding and baseboards.

Re: Inside door color

[ Edited ]

I have light colored walls in a warm light peachy taupe color. The paint on the walls is flat and the trim and doors are all painted with a matching glossy paint, This works well in small spaces and is less visually distracting, thus allowing my much loved art work hanging on the walls to be the star of the show.

What color is your woodwork/trim?

@I am still oxox You may have.  You must have trim (moulding) around the base of your walls and around the windows and doors.

Our interior doors are all white as is all of our crown molding and baseboards. I like that clean, crisp look.

@I am still oxox If you don't have any trim anywhere then I think you could paint the door any color you like.  Do you have other interior doors that you want to match or at least coordinate with?

You could do all of your woodwork a few shades darker if you want them to stand out, match the wall if you want them to fade into the background.

Let google image show you examples.
