Its nicely styled....colors are just a bit too neutral for me...and the sofa settee looks uncomfortable....

@mspatmac  I so agree. I knew when I posted this one it would not resonate with everyone, but this is a look I adore. I'd probably opt for more color in this salon, but I very much like all of the French style elements...

Formal? Yeah, but not stiff. I could walk into it barefoot in cutoffs and tank and dive in with ease.

I love this room.  I might opt for one large painting of a dark, yet serene landscape over the sofa instead of four smaller architectural prints, and I might want to be careful sitting on that sofa due to its wooden framework that I might strike my hand or arm against while reading a magazine, but other than the one change and that one issue, this room rocks! I adore the wainscoting and the crown moulding and the balance of light and dark elements.

Not for me, too formal. The sofa looks like a torture device, cannot imagine sitting on it comfortably.

It's nice if you like the French style.  It's not for me though.
