Re: Imaginative Paper in the Powder Room...

I don’t like the wallpaper. Not loving the gold chair or sink  either. This is not for me.

It's pretty - but I wouldn't be able to live with those colors.

Re: Imaginative Paper in the Powder Room...

I'm beginning to like some wallpapers more and more.......

I've been watching '60 Minute Makeover' on DABL TV.

It's in the UK, and some of their wallpapers are beautiful, especially the silver metallic background ones.

I know, the thought of metallic sounds bad, but if it's vaguely/slightly in the background and it's monochromatic with light, barely there patterns, etc. it can look beautiful.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

I like the wallpaper!   Mainly because there's a window to give a lot of light into the small room.

Re: Imaginative Paper in the Powder Room...

I like this room ~ while I probably would have selected a different wallpaper, I like this because it's (as someone else mentioned earlier) a room that was given some thought.

I watch HGTV often and have begun to feel that everything is "cookie-cutter"..............There are a few exceptions : )

Seems subway tiles are constantly used ~ in bathrooms and as kitchen backsplashes, there has to be a big island in the kitchen, open-concept, etc.

Don't get me wrong these aspects of a home are attractive and popular, but I guess a room with some quirks or surprises is more to my liking.  To each his own.

Re: Imaginative Paper in the Powder Room...

Ummm, I'm on the fence about this one.

I like the colors but think it's a very busy pattern.  Maybe if the pattern was smaller in size .. wonder if that would be more likeable.  In any case, I'd pass on this in my home.

Yes, I do like it, it's light, fresh, and clean looking.  Every time I look at the wallpaper I like it a little bit more !
