I don't mind the boldness of the room but eclectic is just not my thing.  I love yellow but don't think I could take a yellow sofa.  There are a few other things I'd swap out to make it a little more cohesive.

Beautiful work.  Colorful in a small space without it being crazy making.  Such a nice gray backdrop and the art pieces are perfect choices.  Just lovely.

I like this room, and I'm sort of surprised that I do! The artwork above the fireplace really ties all of the colors together - it works!

I would like it better if the yellow sofa, lamps, and accessories were a neutral color.

I surprised myself that I really like it.   The colors are uplifting and not harsh.  Kind of like looking into a bowl of colorful hard candies.

So what's considered "BOLD" in this pictured room?? I find it a normal looking living room. I guess I like bold colors, never thought I did though. I had a beautiful yellow couch (exactly like the one pictured) that looked fabulous in my old house! When we moved, my son wanted it. So it now lives in his house brightening up his living space now.

I like the architectural bones of this room very much. It seems authentic to me, if that makes sense. I very much like the windows, the fireplace and the woodwork.

I have stated several times that my entire condo is gray, but it is a very warm gray with lots of red in it. I really dislike the SUBMARINE GRAY walls in this room. That steely gray is very cold and I don't think it lends itself to the furnishings.

I have worked with designers and we often butt heads because I tend to color inside the lines while they color outside the lines. I struggle to be more free-spirited in mixing style/color, but I am a work in progress. That being said, I can appreciate how the designer furnished this room.
