What do you think of showcasing your collection as a piece of artwork?

@lolakimono  .....  I like the idea.  I have a few doilies made of handmade lace that I purchased in Italy.   Will have to try this.

i love this...i have some doilies that my grandmother made.....i was just going through some old family pictures from the 50's....and noticed doilies on every piece of furniture...i also remeber it was my job to iron the doilies after my mom washed them!

Not being a doily person I prefer them displayed this unique way rather than on tables.

NO.......grandmother made them so had to be displayed.  If I never see one ....okay with me.

30 years ago I had a big collection of antique doliles. They are really beautiful.   We used to go antiquing at least once a month.  Now we are the antiques.

I am not a lover of Doilies but if I had a collection passed down from a loved one this application would be perfect for a Bedroom, Reading Nook, etc.  

Framing them under glass would keep them clean and preserved.

Good idea for the person who has them.
