I would love to have a real walk in bulter's pantry with lots of shelves for storing applicances and extra dishes.  I would also love to have a hearth or fireplace in the kitchen....it would be so cozy on winter monrings!

I'd get rid of the dining room, which is very nice but never used, and expand the kitchen.  I'd like an island that I could have bar stools for eating, and use as a desk area, as well use for baking.  A pantry would be nice.

 

The way the house is set up this could never happen but I can dream.

Counters or cupboards - they were both here when we bought the house and they are dark.  I would choose one or the other.
