If there was one thing you could…

change or add to your kitchen, what would it be and why?  Whether it's hardware or countertops.

Re: If there was one thing you could…

I would like a bigger kitchen with more cabinets, a way bigger pantry and more counter space.  I would easily give up my dining room for these changes.

i do a lot of cooking and baking and there is not enough room to work or store things.

I'd rather have my kitchen at the FRONT of the house instead of the rear......but it would be cheaper to move...

I would add a La Cornue range.

@Carmie I'm with you. My formal dining area may look decent but has become nothing more than a dust collection area or catch all.

Only one???  I need more than one!  I need more counter space, more storage space, and a pantry!  Sorry --- don't mean to be greedy.... Woman Wink

Room for a full sized fridge rather than my counter depth one.

The countertop... I moved last year and this home has dark "leathered granite", which is vein-y, natural looking and a bumpy, not smooth surface. While it looks interesting and sorta nice, but it hides all the dirt and I can't write on it- I would love a smooth light, old fashioned SMOOTH granite or quartz. But not changing it now!
