If you decorate your home for fall, when do you start?   I'll probably start mine about a week or so after Labor Day weekend.   In October, I'll add some of my Halloween decorations to the fall decor.

What about you?  If you decorate for fall, when do you start?

I've already put a few things out and will do the rest during Labor Day weekend.  Like you, I''ll add Halloween things at the beginning of October.

I finished my front porch today. It will be hot Labor Day weekend and I wanted it done. My personal favorites are scarecrows from Hobby Lobby that I stick in all my planters. I won't add pumpkins until October.

@BunSnoop  I just de-decorated the summer things. I'll do fall this weekend. I know it's early, but it's been a looooong HOT summer!

I decorated my downstairs last Thursday and decorated mom's condo, inside and  outside, last Friday. I will work on the outside of my own place this weekend. But I have to weed the garden before I decorate outside.

Mine is done.  I was getting so tired of Summer and needed a lift so I did  it last week.  I usually wait until the first day of September.  I love my Fall decorations.  I start Christmas towards the end of October.  It takes me some time because of my back problems so I start early.  I never get tired of Fall and Christmas.

I've started but will do more this weekend.  September is always a busy month for me so do what I can.

 I worked in the garage some tonight and getting some of the outdoor decorations out and organizing and tossing some stuff as I go.  Didn't get it all done in the spring and then the summer was too hot. So good time to finish up.

@BunSnoop - I usually start after Labor Day. I'm always still in summer mode and I like my summer decorations! I put out fall then. Near the last week of September I start Halloween. DS was born shortly before, and when he was in school he always had a big costume party. I had so much fun getting the house ready and fixing the snacks!  After Halloween, some fall will come back out. I won't decorate for Christmas until Thanksgiving day - family tradition!

I always start Labor Day Weekend.  Once September hits, I'm in full-on fall mode. 

My husband is a Halloween fanatic, so he will decorate the outside of our house for Halloween the last weekend in September.  He does a massive display and it usually takes him a few days to fully set it up.  With all that work, it's nice to have the month of October to enjoy it.
