Put in a nice white or wood desk (not the thrift store retread that is there) and a pretty small French chair with that fabric used tastefully (maybe one of the caneback small French chairs with this fabric in the seat?) and you have fabulous.

Not my style; however my Papaw received a solid maple version of the desk as a retirement gift in 1962.   The desk was sorely neglected over the years, and came to my home in 2011, where it was sanded and painted dove gray.

I don't like the room, but I love the yellow china cabinet, the white side chairs and the print on the chair (but not the chair)  As much as I like color, the pink desk is too much even for me!
