Love the room, but not the "wall of trees".  I would paint over it!

I thought I would hate this but I really like it for a Mountain Chalet.

I wouldn't like it in any other area .....I like rooms that compliment their surroundings.

@lolakimono  A nicely put together cozy winter retreat.  This room was assembled with great care.

I seldom use brown and beige tones anymore.  Used to love them in my teens and twenties.

Discovered I need lighter, brighter colors around me.  Already sad that now we will gradually be losing daylight hours starting today.

That is so beautiful and calming ... wish I had a space like this.

I'm not a fan of brown, but this room is beautiful.  If it were mine, I'd change ALL the fabric/fiber elements to a lighter, cheerful color.   I'm thinking shades of aqua that would complement the wood tones of the floor and ceiling, and the gray of the mural.

For me,  it is dreary rather than cozy.

I love the wall of trees.  There's a lot of dark wood; I'd replace either the floor  or the ceiling with something lighter.  It's  a very masculine room.
