It's wonderful that the house, buildings, and grounds were able to be restored to their magnificence. The man's appreciation of history and beauty are evident.

Loved hearing about the history of this home.  I can't imagine anyone gambling it away!  The ceilings are beautiful.  Loved the kitchen but would like to have seen different countertops.  An interesting read.

I like when a house reflects its country, location, ethnicity etc...this does just that...lovely.

Decor might not be perfect for me but it is interesting to look at.

Love the house as is. ALMOST. That rug in the main living room is not adding anything to that room. I would change that rug out. Otherwise I love it.
