@house_cat  My husband and I use to collect antiques back in the 70's and early 80's. That 1200 dollar cabinet would have easily sold for 3 or 4 thousand dollars back then. In my area you have to give the antiques away, there is just no interest. I too love your kitchen.

Re house_cat    I have a hoosier cabinet much like the one in your picture, it was purchased from an antique store 25 years and I paid $1000 dollars at the time, they are always expensive if in good condition.  We  have moved around the country 3 times and I always look for a kitchen with space for it.  Would never part with it.  The youngsters do not like antiques much, and prefer more modern, but the prices have not come down. It is Fun to go looking for something special.

Thank you house-cat that was such an adorable cookie jar.  Hard to find with all the pieces.  I also have an old paint chimney cupboard, I keep all my old linens and aprons in.  My son thank goodness wants it.  Love the old stuff.

Your cupboard is very nice also.  Great place to store your treasures.
