I went antiquing with a friend today....

[ Edited ]

.... she was a very bad influence, lol.

I bought a little dove lamp for my kitchen, a couple of things to decorate the soffit in my teeny-tiny kitchen and a cookie jar that looks like a kitchen stove!

Whaaaaa?!

Yes, you read that correctly!

It's a cookie jar and it's a stove! 🤯

@alicedee

I do! It is literally my favorite place to be in all the world.  It's small though.... my whole house is rather small, so when I bring in something new, I need to get rid of something.  I packed up several boxes of clothes and household items to donate this week, so I feel justified in bringing home some new treasures.

Love your kitchen and it does not look that teeny or tiny

You did a good job of selecting some really distinctive things.  That cookie jar is darling.  Lamp is cute too.

That's because you're a fellow NYer, @I am still oxox . We're used to small apartments.  Only once did we have a house that was too big for us. We lasted 6 years in it and downsized the first chance we got.

@house_cat  I have a bird lamp just like the one you just purchased except mine is yellow. I love all of your new items.

Your finds are really cute, I’ve been called a bad influence when it comes to shopping. Not sorry. 🤣

Re: I went antiquing with a friend today....

This hoosier cabinet is the one item I would have bought if I had room to put it in my house.  It was $1200, which is a heck of a lot of money, but I've always wanted one.  Someday I may have room for it and won't be able to find one. 😓
