I've About Had It with Slatkin Candles

I just got 4 new flavors, thinking that BY NOW they would have improved the drowning wicks...but, noooo. I've learned that I can never, ever trim a Slatkin candle wick,& that they MUST burn for a certain length of time before you can blow them out (I use the lid), or the wick problem is even worse!

The first scent I lit was the Fresh Lemon. I really don't understand the great reviews, because the lemon scent is very chemically-fake. Bad wick.

Then I lit the French Garden (I think that's what it's called). It's kind of a fruity scent, with HORRIBLE wicks. Btw, I always buy the triple wick candles.

Last year during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, I bought a few Archipelago candles, & they were THE BEST candles I've ever burned. They are expensive, but the sale price was insanely great for a large candle. They burn slowly, evenly, last forever, & have good "throw". They last way longer than Slatkin candles.

I used to love Slatkin, but I guess it's time to move on. {#emotions_dlg.thumbdown}
