A few weeks ago I moved the furniture in my living room.  Now I found some drapes on Overstock (I have about 3 sets already which I rotate in my house), have ordered a new shower curtain and going to Target to get a wall shelf I found to put up in the bathroom.  I also got an email and went on Country Door and I would be in big trouble if I hadn't paid off my charge with them.  They have such a cute selection of home decor and good recipes too in their catalog.  I get in such trouble when I get in a decorating mood!

I love what you're doing! Nothing like a change of pace to spark up your spirits -- and those around you.

Go for it!

@hoosieroriginal, great way to spice things up for Spring.  I just came from a shopping trip and did exactly that.  Now all I need is the warm weather that goes with it!  A change is good.  LM

I enjoyed your post.  I'm in the re-doing my closets phase and one project always leads to another project. When it comes to home decor I can lose my mind with purchases. ha ha! Two weeks ago I got my 20% coupon from BBB and decided I would replace an old wastecan with something "fancy". Well.......................that's how it starts and now I'm on the hunt for all the wastedcans in the house. I'm always pleased with the end results. Now I only hope my energy holds up enough to tackle the really big projects around here. Good Luck on your projects.

@Fressa - here is the shower curtain and a shelf I just purchased for my bathroom:  Going to make it a little rustic.  Putting the shelf above the towel bar on the opposite wall.

@Lilysmom -check out pics of the shower curtain and shelf I just purchased for bathroom (posted above)  The shelf was $50 at Target and the shower curtain only $19.99 on Walmart website.  I spent way more than I should have, and need a few more things - but in time, (I need to put the brakes on!)

I love that shower curtain and the colors.  The shelf looks antique to me. Our son's in laws used to be in that business.  I have more of a casual elegance style with a shabby chic color scheme.  I have two sets of antique bookcases that I love.  I like to have those special pieces in a few rooms because it really does make a nice difference. Your plans for your bathroom sound great. I hope you post a picture when you are finshed. What great finds.

@Fressa - Thanks!  Shelf $50 at Target!  I have an old chifferobe in my living room that I leave one door open and keep books in - it apparently was a male's chifferobe - it has a place for studs on the inside of the door and is also marked "studs".  I love my antiques.

Great find at Target.  I find some of those accent pieces at Pier 1.  Target... I can always find those furniture pieces for the electronics in this house.  I now buy a tv according to the stand that I can find at Target. LOL!!!

Re: I'm out of control!

[ Edited ]

@hoosieroriginal

No better feeling for me than a "fresh" updated room in my home. I feel money spent on my home or love of kitchen items, home decor is cheaper than a "therapist" lol to give me a good feeling!

Enjoy re-freshening and shopping -- Spring is in the air!

(PS: my gf's were going to casino today I opted to stay home and shop for new wood blinds for my kitchen/family room instead of "donating this month" and believe me I make a donation every time we go!)🙊

PSS:  your not out of control just on a decorating roll -- you go girl!!!!
