I learned about these today -- for wire shelving closets!

[ Edited ]

I'm helping my gf move into her new place.  Her closets are the wire type (closetmaid) and she had this shelving "paper" for them.

It's heavy plastic and has tabs to attach the liner.

Well, that is the coolest thing!  I'm sure many knew about this but it was new to me!

In my closets I've used shirt boxes (cut to size) for the shelves.  Things always fall through.

Tomorrow I'm definitely heading to Home Depot to pick up a few rolls to use in my pantry.  (I have them lined with cardboard).  This will definitely be more "attractive" !

Home Depot sells the "closet maid" brand so I'll probably buy that one.  I have to measure the width of the shelves.    I just checked "A" and better pricing and yardage than in HD.  I'll order from them.

The Container Store also sells acrylic sheets to fit the wire shelving. That's what I use.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

I don't have wire shelving, but I prefer enclosed boxes on my closet shelves as much as possible due to dust build-up.  I can't even reach my top shelf without a step-stool, so cleaning the dust off that is a real pain.  I actually something on a long pole on top of getting on a step-stool to reach the farthest corner.  I don't store anything there, but it still gets all that dust build-up.

I have wire shelving in my pantry and had no idea this lining existed. I too will be looking into it.  Thank you!

@homedecor1  I have had them for years, and I think I got them from Bed Bath and Beyond.  Also, any of the pop-up shelving that the Q and HSN sells, like Origami, come with them.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

@jpie The liners on the wire pantry shelves are a game changer.  "Tippy" stuff is no longer tippy!
