I hope the next few days will be filled with joy and happiness

here and in real life. Life is too short to be complaining about what has gone wrong and focusing on that rather than focusing on the joy and the beauty of Christmas for those who practice the holiday.

I spent the day yesterday with my grandson. We made fudge and cookies and he made a lovely design on a plate to give his Mom for Christmas. Using colored sharpies he drew a picture of a folk art Santa and signed it off. We baked it in the oven at 350 for 30 minutes and the colors were set. We played games, worked on a Christmas puzzle.

He told me on the phone the day before that he didn't want me to be sad and crying. That he loved me and his Mom and Dad did and everyone did. That kid brought out the spirit of Christmas like nobody else could.

My wish for everyone is to let the spirit move you and smile more and just enjoy the coming few days.
