I don't usually care for dark walls but

It's beautiful.  It looks like a room in a big castle like Highclere where we would sit and read the paper or a good book at dusk.  It's winter and the beautiful snow is falling outside.  I don't think it would be good in a small home.

Restoration Hardware is one of my favorites too.  With this particular room, I like some of the furnishings, but I would definitely prefer walls that are not so dark.

I can appreciate the coordination, but it's too dark for my taste.  Add some white or cream inside the mouldings ... even ON the mouldings, Same thing for the couch and chairs.

It's a beautiful restful room.  I could get comfy there.

 

It's a bad choice if you own a white cat or dog, though.
