They also featured a gadget with wheels for carrying lots of plastic grocery bags. My sister sent my dad one of these things when he was living in apartment complex for seniors. He had a long walk from the entrance to his apartment so this thing was a God-send. Some old lady even tried to get her hands on it by claiming it was hers. Didn't work...had his name on it.

OMG!!! How feisty is that???

Good thing his name was on it. She's probably taken other things that didn't belong to her and the real owners looked like they were taking advantage of an old lady if they tried to protest!

DIY Network is available on most cable stations. I am surprised you do not have it. It is a very popular network. Not just on satellite Direct TV. I enjoy the show, I Want That, especially the special one hour editions of the Consumer and Hardware shows. Usually find a few clever products for the house and garden.

I Want That series has been on for several years as half hour shows. This Friday there was a DIY I Want That marathon. Such innovative helpful products and many quite affordable. I made a list already for Spring projects.

The DIY channel is also on regular cable. You might have to call your cable company to see where it is (and you might have to pay extra, depending on the "tier" you're using). We have it on our cable line-up.

The DIY Channel seems to be run by HGTV. They're right next to each other in the line up and the same programs often appear on both channels.
