My preference is black and white/cream toile and I am having issues .

1. What color dust ruffle do I use with the black and white/cream comforter and shams? They NEVER come with a dust ruffle (Valerie or HSN). Do I use white or try to find a similar toile design?

2. I want 4-8 similarly-colored salad/dessert plates. Each plate I find costs about $25. I just need them to "set a mood" for my table and don't want to spend $100 for four plates. Reproduction toile is good enough for my purposes.

3. One year, Target sold dishes and bathroom sets. That is my price range. I have searched the net and eBay and found nothing. That kind of search doesn't call up everything though. I received a Thomas Jefferson catalog yesterday with plates for $18 each--why didn't THAT show up in my search? I may have to go with the $18 plates.

4. Bottom Line: I don't want to pay so much that I feel locked in to using this for many years. I just want to be able to change off occasionally, thus looking for lower prices.
