to check out their new fall dishes. Just got an email from them and I love their Ashland dinnerware. I don't have the space (or $$) to buy the whole set, but what I have done in the past for Christmas/winter dishes is to just buy a salad plate and matching coffee cup for my morning coffee and muffin/toast. It brightens my morning and I don't need the whole set.
They also have a mango wood charger with leaves design/distressed..OMG, I LOVE that! Would put a candle in the center and some acorn scatter around that..TDF!
Sadly, I'll have to wait till we go to visit our daughter later in Oct. for my Dr.appt., to visit her store..90 miles away from us.

I thought they might poof it if I put the real name in the title. Guess I'm just paranoid since this forum changed. LOL

I love to eat from decorative salad plates and mugs, like you. It is such a simple thing, but it is better for me than collecting a whole dinnerware set that I do not need and have nowhere to store.

@country gal That Ashland set is wonderful! I just placed an order online for 2 of the mugs and 6 of the salad plates of that set. They didn't have them in our local PI store...sold out already!!!
I also browsed through all the new Christmas offerings and saw a couple of great plaid pillows with deers on them, but was able to pass...just not practical for our small livingroom. However, I bought a set of plaid appetizer plates, which worked out perfect and helped bring me up to the $75 mark for FREE S&H...so that helped out some..
Here's a pic of the appetizer plates...LUV me some plaid! ![]()
They will go great with the BonJour Sierra Pine dinner plates I got last year from WM...and so will the new Ashland leaf salad plates! Additionally, so many other salad plates I have bought over the past year coordinate so well with these dinner plates...like the BH&G Christmas/holiday/heritage collection salad plates...ALL of them...poinsettia, mistletoe, amaryllis, deer/birds/barn scene/owls/etc! ![]()
