What a great wreath. Know she will love it.

I used to make those quite often.

THey are wonderful items that can be made specific to the recipient.

So cute.

Very nice. I remember when I was a young girl we made something similar maybe in girl scouts, except it was made with tissue paper and a coat hanger shaped in a circle. I don't remember how to cut the paper, but you would take the strips and twist them on the hanger. That brought back a nice memory. Thanks.

So beautiful @PA Mom-mom!!

You mentioned it's an 8" circle, is that a wire wreath base?

Wondering too if you found directions on youtube or if the store had info.

Thinking about making one for a girlfriend of mine she'd love it.

@rockygems123  Youtube has lots of tutorials for the larger wreath, but there are not many for the 8 inch wreath. The only difference is the length and width of the strips. For the 8 inch, I used strips that were between 6 and 7 inches long, and 1 1/2 inches wide. There was one tutorial I used, and for the life of me I can't find it on youtube. I should have bookmarked it. If I find it, I'll let you know.

Making a kit for your granddaughter is a great idea! The fabric you chose is so thoughtful and personal. She will think of you each day as she passes by her door. I had never heard of this type of wreath. It reminds me of the blankets my kids would make with fleece and they would cut all around the edges in strips and then tie two different patterns together.

@Ok great, thank you for the tips!  And great if you do find it, youtube is an abyss and sometimes so hard to find the original one viewed, I've done that a few times.
