I like it.

I don’t know or don’t remember but what was the original purpose of the Dutch door?

It looks nice but is very unpractical! Who wants all the bugs in their home in the Summer?

@OKPrincess    To keep children safely inside and animals outside.  It also provided extra light and air flow when desired.

Now this I like. The door and light fixture beautiful.  Would love to see the rest of the place.

Very nice. I would never have thought to hang the curtains that way. I don’t like the overhead light fixture, but such a small thing considering the rest of the space is so lovely.

I like that chest on the right.

I will take that, thank you.

Dutch doors are pretty, but impractical with AC. Love this entryway and the decor. I'd put in a one-piece door just like this one (curved top) to avoid misquitoes and/or creepy crawly things . . . and to keep the AC inside!
