Re: I Have A NEW Bathroom After 43 Years!

@ECBG Congratulations!  Doesn't it feel great?!!  It's like having a spa now compared to the older look.

We also renovated the main bath two years ago and it was 30 years old at the time.  I liked how it turned out so much that I had the hall bath done last summer and I plan on having the powder room renovated this fall.

A nice new fresh look & feel is wonderful!...and will go with your new wardrobe! Smiley Happy

Enjoy! Were starting in on ours around the first of August. Starting with new counter top, sink and faucet. Have not decided what to do about tub and/or shower area yet. I'll be interested in hearing the progress!

I think a bundle may be less expensive.  You may want a vanity too.

I used the hall bath so DH and sons had the big bath and could get out at the same time with DH directing.  As they aged, it kept my sons from my expensive hair products.

They did it in 2 days and it takes 2 days to dry the glue.

Re: I Have A NEW Bathroom After 43 Years!

@Kachina624 Your comment made me laugh! I have 3 bathrooms in my house which we plan to renovate. We started with the small, tiny bathroom downstairs, which took forever to finish! 🙄 Anyway, With all the aggravation, I said when it was done that I was going to have a big party! Lol! So I did! It was the funniest thing! I invited everyone to my bathroom party!! 🚽 My house was packed, we did a Yankee swap just for fun (this was just in May, and about 45 people were in the swap), and we played other games, just for fun! It was the best and we had a ball! 😂 Just wait till the second bathroom is done! 😜🚽🥳

Re: I Have A NEW Bathroom After 43 Years!

We did a reno on our Master Bath this past winter.  It took a while because we made the bath smaller and our bedroom bigger.

We used the same vanity and sinks, but everything else is brand new.

I went with the marble look porcelain tile for shower and floors.  So the walls had to be painted grey.  A color I'm NOT wild about, but it's grown on me.

We had the tub taken out and just have a shower for two with beautiful glass doors.

We've yet to use it and we've it was finished back in March/April.  I think I'm going to let my grandson be the first to use it this weekend.Woman Happy

Isn't a new bath the best feeling in world. So fresh and new.  Congrats!
