We had ours remodeled last fall and it took over a week.
Sounds like your bathroom was larger. We had 2 boys so I always used the hall bathroom to keep them out of my hair products.

I'm sure you'll love it! We had our tub ripped out last year and a low threshold shower base put in along with all new tile and countertop. We also had the grab bars put in right away even though we don't need them yet, they have come in handy.

It's so funny how we need different things at different ages. My current house had only showers because the former owners removed the tub in favor of a walk-in shower, so I remodeled one bathroom to include a soaking tub with all the needed grab bars. I thought about a walk-in tub, but decided I would rather install a bath lift when I can't get and out of the tub as that would be easy to remove or replace as needed and wouldn't require a wait for the tub to fill or drain.

@ECBG. You should have a party and invite all your friends over to oooh and awwh over your new reno. When you spend that much money, you should show it off.

It took over a month for ours. Ripping out the old tub, the shower, the toilet and the lava bowls, then getting the wrong toilets, the plumbers putting the faucets in the wrong location on the slab, needing another slab and having to locate the exact pattern. Lava bowls also did not fit the cut-outs for the slab that plumber put holes in wrong place once that happened. Limestone for the floors and shower were late arriving. Lids for the toilets were not the right ones, change of plan for the soaking tub because the window and tub were not symmetrical as the size was wrong, carpenter not being here to build steps for the tub, changing shower faucets from one brand to another brand to make the transition from cold to hot and hot to cold in less than 30 seconds, towel warmers had to be placed in a different location from what I wanted and grab bars for the toilet room and shower did not match. We took all those Hollywood mirrors down and I went to glass shop and bought new mirrors, to lighting shop and got new lights. Lots of work, retrofitting and planning that went awry. The best laid plans of mice and men.

Nothing like a new bathroom (or kitchen for that matter) to make you feel like you won the lottery! Enjoy your new bathroom.
