I sort of like the room but agree, it needs work.

It looks like a room where the occupant would be compelled to contemplate death.

I do not like pictures or paintings of people in the bedroom.  I don't care even if they are pictures of me.  I also would never have an antique mirror in my bedroom or anywhere else in my home.

Too many haunts for my taste.

Sorry, another NOPE.  I do like the wood floors though & the view (always about the view for me.)

Feels like the walls would be closing in on me with the combination of the dark furniture.

No. I could not sleep here. Too "cold" looking and the bed looks uncomfortable. I don't care for a canopy bed. Replace with a full-size bed with mattress and box springs. Remove the canopy and add lots of fluffy pillows and a comforter to make the bed come alive with all that nice light. Add a big rug under the bed with several pale colors in the rug.

Also, I could never sleep the way the bed is situated with open area on one side and windows on the other. I would fall out of bed !!

I don't like the art work. The lady over the windows looks like she's going to fall out of her chair...onto the bed !!Take all of it out and replace with water colors and babbling brook art.

Love the lighting in this bedroom but add beautiful sheer, lacey curtains. The furniture needs to be moved. I would like to see 2 pretty chairs on each side of the windows with a small table and lamp in the center. Use for a reading area.

...OR move the bed in front of the windows. If there were blinds to cover the windows it would be better. I don't care to awaken with the sun. Then the dresser could be moved to the opposite side of the room and put a bed-side table and lamp to the right of the bed.

I would love to re-design this bedroom!! The first thing I would do is paint the walls mint green. That's the color I have in my newly remodeled bedroom.

Yes. I could picture it the way I described... Would be fun to re-do this room!

Oh my gosh! I think you just asked if I could sleep in this room ...but I went ahead and re-designed the whole room! Smiley Happy

This room does not scream comfort to me at all. The bed does not look comfortable, and the wall art is awful. It just does not look relaxing to me at all.....

It reminds me of the Scooby Doo episodes where there are eyes moving behind a painting.

As a rabid scooby doo fan, your comment made me belly laugh @lolakimono

It's not my style.

Regarding the artwork; I have always found portraits kind of creepy.  The same with those awful collectible dolls-- CREEPY!!!
