Re: How to stick a wreath to a mirror?

To be safe, I'd use 2 3M Command hooks, more depending on the size of the wreath. And, absolutely PULL DOWNWARDS carefully when removing the hooks.

Command hooks are definitely the most fail proof. I use one on my front door for a wreath and they last for years. Never had any luck with suction cups.

I use fishing line. I make a loop (like an infinity scarf) and pull it through the wreath. I then just take the end and hook it over the nail holding the mirror.

I use suction hooks all the time on windows and mirrors. They stay put. I moisten them a bit on the back before putting them up. I literally have to pry them off when taking them down.

That is a very good idea. I wonder if my SIL will help me out with the finishing line. He is an avid fisherman. T

I love the suction cups that have the hook part you pull down to 'lock' the suction cup. I've never had one fall off. Easy to remove - simply lift the hook part up and then pull the little tab on the suction cup part.

Look for them at florists, e bay, amazon, hardware stores, ....

These are the kind I use, too. I found them at HL. They work great!

I use fishing line to hang a wreath in my front door. It's cheap and you can't see it. Put a small nail or tack on the top of the mirror to hang it from. 3m hooks work good too.

that is why i use thin wire on my wreaths that i hang outside on our windows for the christmas holiday! it looks like the are suspended in air! you can't see the small nail at the top of the window from the street.
