How to clean inside glass vase with fixed silk flowers

didn't think much of it when purchased vases with the flowers in that faux water and the stems permanently put in the vase.  The flowers can't be removed so I'm wondering how can I clean the inside of the glass now ??  Seems that one of my vases is getting cloudy and developing a film.  Does anyone have any ideas or have arrangements like mine and have figured out a way to clean  inside ?  Thsnks😺

I use a wet micro fiber cloth wrapped around a wooden spoon. If the cloth won’t stay wrapped around the spoon put a rubber band around it.

@Leggett28 Great suggestion for vases I have that are wider at the top,  still need to figure something for vases that have a very narrow opening though and flowers that are very clustered at the top 😏  Thanks

Is there any way for you to *wrap* the flowers in a plastic bag tightly, maybe a vegetable bag and using a rubber band or tie and pour some water with liquid detergent (dish liquid perhaps?) and just swish it around vigorously and then rinse with clear water a few times?

@Lucky Charm    That's a good suggestion and just may work.    It is a very large arrangement though so I need to find something large enough to cover flowers.  I certainly don't want to ruin the roses they are that real touch material.   I wish there was room around them to get my hand in there with maybe a swiffer cloth even to swipe the glass ,  not possible the stems are really packed in there at the top .  Thanks 😺

@Kitty Galore

If you need a little abrasion once you get the soapy water inside the vase, try putting in some dry rice and then swishing it all around.

I've added vinegar to water and let that sit for a while in vases before.

Can you take it to your local florist and ask them to do it .?  Even if you didn't buy it from there.  There may be a small charge, they'll know how to do it and freshen the whole thing up.  Shop local.....

@Kitty Galore My illusion bouquet from Valerie is looking rough and I have yet to find a way to get in there and clean it. As much as I liked it at first, I'd never get another one.

Re: How to clean inside glass vase with fixed silk flowers

@Kitty Galore   If you go to Amazon and put in narrow vase cleaner you get a wide selection of bottle brush type cleaners. I had to use that to clean this very large, but ridiculously narrow-mouthed, vase I have. The inside needed to be scrubbed, swishing water and cleaner around inside wasn't doing the trick. And no way was my hand going to fit.

hope that helps!
