We have had our bedroom furniture for about 27 years now, and it is still in good condition, however I would like to buy a new set sometime in the near future...
Our living room furniture we have replaced much more often as it gets lots of use....I think we bought our living room furniture that we have now about 10 years ago, and not too long ago my husband said I am ready for new furniture....lol.......I have a sister in law that buys trendy prints, so she gets bored and wants to replace her furniture much more often....

In the past, I used to buy such expensive furniture I could never even think of replacing it. NOW, there are so many nice cheaper furniture that I just got a new set. I kept my first one for 10 years and am getting a new red leather sectional this weekend.
Now I would love to replace my bedroom furniture but I paid almost 8000 for that wood furniture and I just can't give it away. I don't see as much good wood furniture as before. I know NO ONE is going to buy my futrniture for even 1/3 of what i paid with all this attractive, value city, Bob's etc furniture.
SO NOW, I don't invest in super super expensive furniture cause I know I'm get tired of it and want to switch.
I hate donating my black leather sectional to the salvation army but who is gonna buy it.
