I only have the one we sleep on in our master bedroom. I just bought a spare of some lovely Kate Spade sheet sets that I've been eyeing. They are gorgeous! In my guest bedrooms, I only have the set on the beds.

For my bed, probably around 10 sets of cotton, 2 fleece. For the guest bedrooms, one set of cotton and one set of flannel each. I'm glad I was a sheet hoarder, however, because they're mostly Amadeus with a few Northern Nights. Amadeus was my absolute favorite, gave many as gifts and always was asked to get the giftees more. I know I had more than I needed but am so glad I got enough to save, never thought they'd discontinue the line, in my opinion the best brand ever carried by the Q. The last NN set I got was way too huge for my 14" mattress. I refuse to purchase the cheaper blend sheets the Q now carries and will be searching for options.

We love sheets too. We have one Twin Bed, and two Queen beds in our home, and we have 3 sets of sheets for the Twin bed(grandchildren) and 6 sets of Queen Sheets.....

I have one bed and just bought an organizer for all of my Berkshire velvet sheets. I refuse to count but I think Blue may be the only color currently missing from my stash.
Don't even get me started on blankets. In my defense, I am anemic and therefore always cold and I have a doctor's note to prove it. Not one of them is going anywhere!

I have more than I ever thought I would have. I have three sets of the cotton sheets, three sets of flannel sheets, two sets of polar fleece sheets, and two sets of the heavy jersey sheets. We actually use them all throughout the year. Some of my sheets are years old that I can't remember when I purchased them. When they start to show signs of wear then they become drop cloths of storage covers. I really have seen the same quality in bedding as what I have purchased in the past so I'm glad I did.

I have one twin bed, and have three sets of sheets for it.
I have two queen beds, and I have 5 sets of summer sheets and 5 sets of winter sheets (polar fleece and flannel) total.
I live by the "one on the bed, one in the wash and one spare set" rule when it comes to bed linens.

And I never use the same sheets over an over, but always rotate them. Sheets and especially the elastic in them will rot if they aren't used and washed regularly. I tend to get many years out of sheets doing it this way.

This is why I have so many sheets.
I remember back before the 1990's when JC Penney had the best sheets ever. Lasted for decades. But when the mattresses got so big and fat, I had to get rid of all those sheets, and had a miserable time the last 15 years finding really good sheets (affordable). I did finally find ones I love at Sam's Club a number of years back, could see the handwriting on the wall about where the quality of linens was going in general, and at Q in particular, and bought quite a bunch to hopefully get me through for many years. So far so good, they are holding up like those from many decades ago.
When it does come time to replace, I have no idea what I'm going to do because the things I've seen in stores, and the stuff I've tried from here over the last several years is simply horrible.

Three - maybe 4. I've slowly been replacing all my sheets with black sheets. I write in bed and usually fall asleep and get ink all over the sheets and pillow cases. Black sheets .... can't see ink.
