I recently culled my "collection" and have had many for many years...but am little by little weeding out any old ones that have "had it", and been replaced by newer ones.
Currently, two white sets, 1 sage green, 1 dusty pink. 1 older periwinkle Amadeaus brand QVC used to carry (my favorite!)...I only use these in summer when I put on the quilted set that has periwinkle in it I bought them for.
In winter I have two sets of flannel I rotate.

I have 2 sets of cotton sheets for summer and 2 sets of fleece sheets for winter for one queen size bed.

For our king bed I have 2 sets of sheets that I use about 7 months of the year and 1 set for winter that I wash and put right back on the bed. See no need for any more.
We have a twin in the 2nd bedroom that is seldom used and I have one set of sheets for that which stays on the bed.

1 extra sheet for 2 beds. I don't like having excess of anything.

For two bedrooms, I have about 6 really good sets of sheets. Then there are those sets, that have the overstretched bottom fitted sheet that just isn't tight anymore. I hate that! That's when I have to toss them.

4 sets for the king and 2 for the full. All cotton. No need for flannel.

I haven't counted, but I have at least 50 sets of sheets and that's a low estimate.
Most of them are queen size. We have three queen beds in our home and three twins. In our two RV's we have a total of 4 queen beds, 2 full and five twins.

I cannot fold fitted sheet at all lol. It is a mess and so wrinkly when I open it to put on the bed!

2. The set that's on the bed and a spare.
And only one set for the bed in the guest room.

I have 3 full sets of sheets and then a few bottom sheets that I match up with some fabulous top sheets--believe it or not , they are from the 70's--and in perfect condition- and made from cotton that is soft and comfy---remember the brand Vera--those are the ones I have-----I also have lots of vintage white pillow cases too--love the old linens-----seem to last longer too. they usually have cute embroidery on them---got them from ebay a few years ago.
