My Mom bought a full-size Sleep Number i8 in 2011 (single chamber) due to a back injury. She purchased the adjustable base in 2013. We've had to replace all of the inner foam frame, and I've had to measure the mattress on a few occasions to discuss with Customer Service the fact that the mattress seems to have stetched out of shape. The mattress doesn't lay squarely on the base anymore. Constant adjustments to the air pressure don't make much of a difference, and the bed has become very uncomfortable. The first few years were good, but I would never buy another Sleep Number bed based on the experience. Seems to be an expensive air mattress, but I think regular air mattresses are more comfortable.
