Mima, My response wasn't addressed to the posters here...just a general statement about people in general.

Mine looks like the housekeeper forgot to clean it in months! BTW, that housekeeper is me. No old food, just nasty looking shelves. Wish I had a housekeeper!

In the kitchen we have a french door style with freezer on the bottom - think it might have been called a Kenmore Trio. I do have a few magnets holding pictures or reminders on it. On top I have a big Longaberger storage basket and a stack of Longaberger Brownie Baskets. Oh, the dog's Greenies are up there, too.

We have a stainless Samsung 4-door French door fridge. On one side of the fridge I have a small sign that says, "Friends Don't Let Friends Have Litters". That's the only thing on the fridge. There's no room on top for anything as the cabinet is right there. I don't like a lot of clutter on the fridge.

My grandsons are 19 & 22 now. But I have never put their pictures on my frig. It makes it look messy.

The front has one favorite photo of my dog and me with a few magnets holding it up. If there is something really important I need to remember to do I will write it and post it with a magnet on the front. One side is covered with informational magnets for quick and easy reference, i.e. who to call in a power outage, vet emergency, insurance phone numbers, local city government info, etc. The top of the fridge has my reusable lunch bag for work and one large glass bowl that contains single serve snack packages.

I use mine for appointment cards. Its the only way I ever get anywhere on time or at all.

Thanks for the question and the opportunity to talk about my new Samsung French Door refrigerator. I am ecstatic about it because it's gorgeous stainless steel, with an extra wine drawer, a freezer drawer and 5 more cubic feet more than my side-by-side, which is now in my garage. It looks gorgeous and nothing is going on the front (not good for SS) but I do have a magnet with a bible verse on the side and another magnet my Mom bought me from her honeymoon.

I also posted my children's latest masterpieces on my refrigerator when they were young and in their teens, I posted their educational awards, commendations, report cards etc. My children and my DH and I took great pride in our brag refrigerator-front. I hated the cluttered look at first as well but made the sacrifice. It worked out well. My daughter just received her Master's and my two sons are finishing undergrad, one is a senior and the other a junior, both studying science/medicine. To Him Be All the Glory!!!
