How do you plan on decorating with the VPH finials (H203277)?

They are great accent pieces, just wish they didn't sell out so fast during the presentation. I would like to have seen Valerie walk around more and showing them in different locations other than on the dining table. In another presentation, she showed a green set in a tray with some spheres...not helpful for me.

I am usually a pretty good with being creative and making vignettes, but this one stumps me I guess. We don't have a mantel/fireplace, and I am limited to locations I can put them due to the height.

I tried checking out Pinterest, but the pics that I've seen are of other types of finials...

I'm in the same place as you with these. I had to have them (got the champagne colored acrylic ones, and waitlisted the gold glass ones) because they are so different and elegant, but I'm still trying to figure out exactly what to pair with them.

I think they are substantial enough to stand alone with something at the base (snow, garland, etc) on a smallish table surface. I have one of the duraflame heaters and though I might make something work on there, but I really need to get them in hand and get a real sense of the sizes first. The acrylic ones might even work on the floor in a grouping in just the right place.

Which ones/colors did you get?

I got the green, red and silver. I'm putting them on a sideboard/bookshelf I have. I've seen them done in a tray on a coffee table and it was lovely, I think it would look great coupled with some lanterns too. She said they will be back in August, with more colors so you should get more ideas then too.

Glad to'm not alone Smile

I got the red & green MG ones and cancelled the GB house lamp I ordered.

In our small home, the floor just wouldn't work. When I bring out the tree, our floor space becomes just enough for us to walk around. Putting them at the top of our wall unit or curio will be tough...only 16.5" clearance from the ceiling...so only 2 of 3 would fit (I wouldn't chance the 16" one unless it is just shy of the 16" height. I know they do fary some...

Did she say that on FB? Maybe she will bring colors for Fall...like brown, bronze, etc.

I will look forward to more presentations on these for sure! I didn't get the silver since I have a set each of gold and silver MG spheres. I know I can mix and match those with the finials, but just don't want it to be MG overkill either...so to speak.

Yes, on FB. She mixed them with the smaller spheres and it looked great so I wouldn't worry about that!

Is your husband handy? Last year my husband made me a shelf to put behind my couch, I got the idea from Pinterest, I'll try to find the link for you. The spheres and finials would look great behind it. I would do it too but I have a toddler so things behind my couch has to be child proof! lol.
