Re: How Often To Wash Bath Towels

I wash them once a week, usually change them every 3-4 days.  Never wet in the hamper.  Sheets are once a week.  Dish towels maybe 4 a week.

Re: How Often To Wash Bath Towels

I get that totally about wanting to see a feel towels before buying them. My wife and I actually have our own towels. Only because I like a heavier towel and likes a lighter towel. We use towels and face clothes just once but I just wash them on the weekend.sheets get changed weekly. My aunt had a neighbor that changed her bed once a year and washed the sheets and hung them outside on the line to dry and she said been you could still see the shape of there body's on the sheets after they were washed. Nothing like showing everyone that they were nasty.

I'm a one and done.  The thought of wiping my face with a towel from yesterday that wiped my butt, that's a no go for me.

Re: How Often To Wash Bath Towels

Mine are washed every week but replaced mid week.  While you are clean after getting out of the shower that is not what is causing the towels to be dirty.  Hanging up the towels to dry brings bacteria and mold to the towels.  Towels in my house likely get more use than others due to the size of my family.  In two days the towels smell musty, kids are always leaving towels sopping wet so its time to swap them out.
