Yeah, the Federal style just feels right to me. I love that style of house. There's an old Federal style house about 20 miles from mine that I've had my eye on for probably 40 years. I talked to a local realtor (mybe thrity years ago?) who said it was gorgeous inside that house, even though the outside wasn't so great looking. The big drawback is the house is within about 100 feet of the NJ Turnpike and that's kind of noisy. That house has three stories with a flat roof and a roof deck on the top adding extra outdoor living space. It was a pretty impressive house in its day. It's past its prime now and would likely cost a fortune to fix, but it's kind of my dream house.

I went up to Deptford the other day and purposely got off 295 a couple of exits early at the the Mantua exit to get a fresh look at my old dream house. I'm happy to report someone has now fixed it all up and it loooks very nice.
