I second lab mommy's review on HR gourd and pumpkins. They light up so beautifully!!! I have 2 gourds and 1 pumpkin. This will be my third fall season with them. To me they were worth the higher price.

I bought Valerie's set of 3 MG pumpkins last year and sent them back because the single bulb in the pumpkins hardly lit them up and so it was not the effect I wanted. The pumpkins themselves were beautiful but I wanted the light effect.

There is a big different in price though.

I ordered the HR Single Mercury Orange Pumpkin and HR Single Mercury Orange Gourd this year. They are beautiful. The Gourd came quickly. To this date, (shipped on 8/11/14), the Pumpkin is still stuck in "in transit" mode. QVC sent out another pumpkin and I did receive that one. They are huge and very elegant looking. I couldnt decide whether I wanted to order Valeries 2 set Gourds and 3 set Pumpkins. So finally I decided to do it. Still waiting on delivery of them. Ordered them on 8/22/14. Shows shipped on 8/25/14, but again both still stuck in the "in transit" mode. It would appear these are as lost as the first pumpkin from HR that I ordered. It doesnt take a week to go from QVC to a UPS Hub. UPS said they dont have it. QVC says they sent it out. So here we go again. I dont know what is going on. That will be 3 Mercury glass items that go "missing" from QVC. Sounds like 1: someone is not shipping them out at all and just printing labels? 2: someone is helping themselves to the goods? I have the tracking numbers to prove they never made it any where. Any one else have such a problem with shipments from QVC? I didnt want to wait for these items to be sold out, so I placed another order for Vals Gourds and Pumpkins. If I dont get these, thats it for me and QVC. I received all my other orders. In fact I had a second order placed on 8/22 and rec'd that one in 3 days. So where on earth are those Mercury glass items? Im afraid to order from QVC now, never knowing if it will come thru. I bought a lot from them in the past few months and never had a problem. Just with these mercury glass items.
