Re: Holidays Down San Antone Way...

[ Edited ]

The staircase and dining room are unfortunate but the rest of the house I like. The teal green cabinets and unique wallpaper in the butlers pantry/bar are fabulous.  Front of the house is stunning minus the enormous nutcracker fellas.

Overall decorating is a littlle overdone, particularly the staircase, for my senses but overall a lovely house.

Not supposed to be, but is in San Antonio. In most regions, it seems that only in certain historical districts is architecture required to conform to a specific aesthetic. Guess this wasn't one of them. Most areas have a real mix of architectural styles.

The outside is very nice, minus the large Nutcrackers, and the Living Room is very pretty and festive. I do not like the staircase at all, something about the colors used maybe....???

Wow, that staircase and the oversized Nutcrackers!  It's awesome.
