I love the Cavalier!  They are the sweetest dogs.  I've had five of them through the years.

The tree is beautiful. The blue is fine. I don’t like those ugly spindly white chairs or that huge tapestry. I’m sure the tapestry cost a fortune but, I don’t care for it.

Here are some more views.  Charles Faudree "country cabin" as shot for Traditional Home magazine.  He says all the ceilings are faux beams and boards as he found it easier to do than scraping off the popcorn-type ceiling material.

I absolutely love it all!  I think everything is beautifully put together.  It makes it not so "matchy matchy" and looks like the house of someone who lives with things they live, and lives comfortably in it.  The pieces work together to me to bring in many interests and elements.

And, it doesn't look like every magazine, tv show, or house!  I like that!

I love the checks.  It makes it super friendly!  

A friend had a dog like that.  If he found any scrap of paper or a wrapper on the floor somewhere he's bring it to her!  If someone missed the trash can or dropped something in the kitchen, he was right there and found her to present it to her!  I'd like a dog like that!

Someone has a beautiful home! I'd take down the tapestry and put up a quilt with snowmen on it. Admittedly, I don't ooze class but that's what it would take for me to be comfortable.

@GingerPeach   I wondered if Charles Faudree had designed that room when l saw the Cavalier.  I have a coffee table book by him that has a Cavalier on the front and throughout the book.  It was a gift from a friend many years ago.
