Love the Cavalier on the sofa.  Glad I didn't have to decorate the tree

The tree is gorgeous, but I agree the blue Couch looks out of place, although we don't see the rest of the room....

I thought the same thing immediately. I don't know why 'they' think a dark heavy big something is needed in such a light bright room. I love the blue. I've always loved blue. I've lived with it for so many decades, I've phased most of it out of my house for now, but I still love blue!.

I love it. The blue checked sofa wouldn't be my personal choice, but I hardly expect them to switch out the sofa for the holiday season. I like that the room is not swamped with other decor for the season also. Just touched here and there.

Not loving the tapestry either... Don't know if it works better than it appears if we could see the whole room, but given what we see, I'd take it down in favor of something lighter.

The blue check couch clashes with the tapestry.  Or vice versa.

I don't care for either element, but the tree is beautiful.

That tapestry looks as though it ought to be in a Medieval castle, not a modern home.  Completely out of place.
