While this is pretty, it isn't festive enough for me, it needs to be perked up with some holiday colors.

While this entrance looks nice IMO it doesn't say Holiday to me.  It actually feels more like spring.

Not sure of which holiday this decor is for, but it is not Christmas for me.

I love it.  I've always wanted a split door like that.

Yes, the plaid ribbons on the lanterns and wreath are very understated, as are the ivy topiaries. Too, these folks opted not to do the red and green thing, so no, it doesn't yell 'Christmas'. Festive, it seems, is in the eye of the beholder and because I believe this porch is part of a beach house in the south, residents probably decided more traditional motifs didn't make a lot of sense. Each to their own, it's not necessarily a good fit for my home, but I find it quite pretty.

I have too @Chopsmom. I love Dutch doors and didn't even realize this was one until you pointed it out!

I think it is perfect for a Warm Weather or Beach Area House.

My Aunt had Dutch Doors in her kitchen......I remember (as a child) walking up to the door when just the bottom half was closed and thinking how wonderful it would be to have a door like that.

I never did get that door.
