We just got a new bed. It has a high bedboard in padded leather with cherry wood trim around the frame. There is 6" of wood down both sides with a beautiful trim (holds Mattress). The footboard is is the same 6" with the trim. It is bowed out with a ledge on top.
I would love to leave the wood exposed. I do not care for dust ruffles anymore. If I put a quilt or comforter just down to the wood with no dust ruffle do you think that would be O.K.?
I have hard wood floors.
