Re: Help choosing sofa color.

I think a sea of beige is incredibly depressing. I couldn’t live in it. My sofa is a rich merlot.

I do like the brown leather photo above.

Re: Help choosing sofa color.

You could do a mid tone gray.

Adding in black and cream buffalo plaid pillows or a preferred color buffalo plaid.

(Even a red or navy , or softer sage green buffalo plaid, if not liking the black idea.)

I would probably do the black and cream version of the buffalo plaid myself.

You could also mix in  buffalo plaid in your throws, table runners, placemats, kitchen towels, ottomans, and throw rugs. (Just don’t go crazy on the buffalo plaid! 😂)

Actually, this would all work well with a beige  sofa also.

(Buffalo Plaid/ Buffalo Check? Hmmm, Not really sure on that - I call it Buffalo Plaid🤔)

A gray sofa will show less dirt than beige for sure though.

That would be a factor for me to consider, but not everyone even gives it a second thought. Depends on one’s lifestyle. Or if the look Is more important than practicality.

Re: Help choosing sofa color.

With a large piece of furniture such as a sofa I always go with a neutral color. The fun is accessorizing with colorful pillows and throws, can change them with the seasons it you desire.
